Description
N.I. Liberich is a Russian realist sculptor, academician. He worked in the field of genre and animal sculpture. Favorite models of N.I. Liberich had characters from hunting scenes: hunters, horses, dogs, bears, deer, wild boars, hares. He preferred small sculptures. The Kaslinsky plant circulated more than a dozen works by N.I. Liberich, a paperweight model made in 1868, depicts the figure of a deer lying. Turning his head back, he licks the wound on his left side. The right front leg is bent. The Kasli plant has been casting paperweights from the late 19th century.
