Description
An interface that allows you to control the new head unit with the steering wheel buttons. This is a sealed module with wires, which can be used for any cars equipped with resistive buttons on the steering wheel. The SWI-X1 is easy to configure and comes with detailed installation instructions. When you change the radio to a new one, it will remain the same functional, it will be enough to reconnect the wires.
Works with all cars equipped with "resistive" (not CAN) buttons on the steering wheel - Chevrolet, Ford, Hummer, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, SsangYoung, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Mazda, Honda.
It is programmed for any head units (Alpine, Pioneer, Panasonic, JVC, Kenwood, Sony, Clarion, NRG, Prology, Mystery, Challenger, Varta, etc.) that are equipped with or compatible with the remote control (programming occurs from the remote control head unit).
Allows you to control as a wired method - through the mini-jack, and through the infrared port for head units that do not have a mini-jack).
Allows for each button on the steering wheel to program TWO functions (short or long press).
