large-Scale bronze replica of the Soviet two-stage super-heavy carrier rocket "Energy" in conjunction with the reusable transport spaceship "Buran", who had a launch mass of 2,400 tons.
the First and last flight, Energy along with the Buran completed 15 November 1988. It was a triumph of Soviet science and technology. Buran in a fully automatic mode, and landed with amazing precision in the estimated landing site through 205 minutes after the start. The launcher Energy was developed "from scratch" in NPO "Energy" as the answer the American shuttles, which assumed the Soviet leadership, was to be used for military purposes in the USA. As a result of works, begun in 1976, to may 15, 1987 in the sky soared the first rocket of Energy with the test load. Total payload basic configuration of the rocket was 100 tons, with the output low reference orbit and the project could be increased to 200 tons when using 8 side rocket blocks of the first stage.
In 1993, work on the project was stopped, but developments used to create complex "Energy-Buran" is used and is still in the production of many domestic and foreign enterprises of the military and peaceful purposes.
