The souvenir plate ratchet is intended for the youngest musicians, for those who are just mastering the techniques of playing. It will also be interesting as a musical souvenir. The souvenir ratchet consists of 7 plates 4 mm thick, the plates are fastened together with a nylon cord through wooden beads with a diameter of 6 mm. Plates material: beech, birch The side plates are painted. Game techniques The ratchet is held at chest level, with the protruding side plates slightly apart from below. Smoothly raise one or the other hand, achieving an even movement of the plates. The ratchet is held with one hand and a rhythmic pattern is played with the other hand over the bottom plates of the ratchet. The ratchet is turned upside down and played as in the first variation.
