R.I. Bach (1819 - 1903) - Russian sculptor, graduate of the Imperial Academy of Arts (1850), chief artist of the bronze foundry of R.Ya. Kohun and t / f Nichols and Plinke in St. Petersburg. The author of models for artistic casting. The model of the Bison sculpture was made in the 1860s. Bison are artiodactyl animals of the bovine family. At the beginning of the XX century. were exterminated and survived only in zoos. At present, there are about two thousand bison in the world. On an oval stand with a ground is a figure of a running horned long-haired animal with a low head down. The Kasli plant casts a sculpture of the late 1880s.
