Portable High Voltage Test System HVTS-70/50

The HVTS-70/50 system is designed to test the dielectric strength of solid dielectrics with low and medium electrical capacitance (power cables, switchgear, arresters, busbars, insulators, etc.) with direct (rectified) voltage (DC) up to 70 kV and high-voltage tests other objects with alternating voltage (AC) of industrial frequency (f = 50 Hz) up to 50 kV. The device can be used both for testing in the field and stationary. VERSATILITY The system provides rectified (DC) and alternating (AC) output voltage modes, which makes it possible to dispense with one HVTS-70/50 high-voltage unit to carry out tests according to various regulations. The choice of operating modes is carried out by simply pressing a button on the control panel and does not require the installation of additional equipment. MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC MODES The system allows testing in both fully automatic and manual modes. In manual mode, the voltage and its rate of rise are controlled by the operator. In automatic mode, the test voltage increases uniformly at a given rate, stabilizes at the required level, and smoothly decreases to zero at the end of the cycle. Switching between modes is done by simply pressing a button. DIGITAL CONTROL The HVTS-70/50 systems have a digital graphical display showing all test settings and operating parameters. The graphical menu provides the setup with advantages such as a multilingual user interface, the ability to view test reports, save test presets, etc. SEPARATE LAYOUT The system is made in the form of two separate modules: control and high voltage units. The control of the test process is carried out from the control unit, and the test object is connected to the high-voltage unit. The two-module solution allows the operator to be at a safe distance from the high-voltage circuit of the system and the test object. STORING TEST REPORTS The detailed results of each test are stored in non-volatile memory. The system allows you to view test reports directly on the control panel screen. BUILT-IN DISCHARGE DEVICE The high-voltage unit contains an automatic earthing switch - a secondary safety device that is triggered in an emergency or upon completion of a test to remove the charge from the high-voltage circuit and object. PORTABILITY The light weight, compact size and portability of both modules allow for quick deployment and reconnection of the system in the field, as well as facilitate the operator's work. The system can be completed with a convenient transport trolley. OIL INSULATION The high voltage unit contains an oil insulated step-up transformer that ensures reliable operation of the system in almost all conditions and does not require special care and maintenance.
