Bioelectric prosthesis "INDI" provides gripping and unclenching fingers to perform basic household activities: dress yourself, take small items, cook food. Mastering the management of such a prosthesis is not difficult.
Principle of operation:
The prosthesis works with electrodes that read the electrical potential from the muscles of the stump at the time of their contraction. Information from the sensors is transmitted to the brush microprocessor and is converted into motor commands through computer algorithms. As a result, the prosthesis compresses or extends the fingers.
The speed and strength of the grip can be controlled in proportion to the strength of the muscle tension, this allows you to take fragile objects without fear of breaking them.
To improve the use of the prosthesis, we have developed a training program that teaches the user how to control the prosthesis in a gaming environment. After training, the user performs actions without hesitation, on an instinctive level.
Dentures are made for people with injuries at the level of the forearm. Dentures involve an injured limb, which leads to the strengthening of the muscles of the forearm, supports them in tone, preventing them from atrophying.
